Pokhara moves at a different pace, and having a car means you set it. We deliver across Lakeside, Damside and the Sarangkot road — and you can drop the car in Kathmandu or Chitwan afterwards at no extra charge.

An experienced local driver comes with any car for a daily rate, their food and lodging covered by us. They know the Sarangkot bends, the Jomsom road and where to stop for dal bhat — the easy choice for families, trekking groups and anyone who'd rather watch the Annapurnas than the road.
Self-drive
Every self-drive car in Pokhara comes with the same cover and unlimited kilometres, plus free cancellation up to two hours before delivery. Visitors need their national licence and an International Driving Permit; Nepali licence holders just bring the original. Drivers must be 21 with a year's licence behind them — 23 for the 4x4s and the Hiace — and it suits anyone who wants dawn at Sarangkot or Begnas on their own clock.

How do I rent a car in Pokhara?

There's nothing to pay upfront — no deposit, and you settle the bill when the car arrives.
How much does car hire in Pokhara cost?
From NPR 4,500 a day for the Suzuki Swift to NPR 18,000 for the Land Cruiser Prado, all-in: VAT, insurance and unlimited kilometres included, with no deposit and no minimum rental period. Weekly and monthly bookings move to a lower daily rate automatically.
Can I drive a rental to Jomsom and Mustang?
Yes — it's one of the great drives in Nepal. Take the Prado or Scorpio-N, tell us your route when you book, and we'll prep the car for the gorge road. Plan two days up with an overnight in Tatopani or Marpha.
What permits do I need for the Annapurna area?
Foreign visitors need TIMS and ACAP permits for the Annapurna region, and a separate restricted-area permit to go beyond Kagbeni into Upper Mustang. Arrange them in Pokhara before you drive up — we'll point you to the right office.
Can I pick the car up at Pokhara airport?
Yes — that's an airport transfer rather than a door delivery: a flat NPR 1,500, the same for any car in the fleet at any hour. Nothing else about the booking changes — no deposit, insurance and unlimited kilometres included.
Can I drop the car in Kathmandu at the end?
Yes, free of charge — one-way rentals between Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan carry no repositioning fee. Drive one way, fly the other.
